We have just introduced a range of Hi-Performance damper bushes and fitting kits for our Heavy Track and RAID dampers.
Koni introduced Heavy Track and ‘HT RAID’ dampers more than 10 years ago and they have sold very well over the last few years, some of these are used for pure road vehicles that never venture off the tarmac, but a great number used for off road and over landing. Both of our 4x4 damper types are perfectly suited to all road uses and use good quality rubber attachment bushes.
Whilst rubber has excellent properties for this use, it does over a period of time start to deteriorate and can eventually perish, therefore we regularly get asked for replacement bushes.
A NEW SOLUTION
Whilst we can of course get replacement Koni rubbers bushes we now also have these new bushes which have been specially produced for us in Australia where they can be tested in extreme circumstances.
Made from Polyurethane the bushes are mechanically filled using minimal crush force, this give us advantages over other types of bush, including High load bearing, flexibility, increased tensile strength and outstanding abrasion resistance.
The initial range will be aimed at the Land Rover Brand, including defenders Discovery’s and Range Rovers. It will then be expanded to other popular models by Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi.
The kits will be available two ways. Bush sets will contain just the replacement bushes as seen above
We will also offer them in full fitting kits that will have the bushes along with any nuts, washers, crush tubes or spacers needed for each application.
These new kits will be sold under our RFT ReFiT brand name.
